Opening Hobby Packs vs. Buying eBay

Many times, it is so much cheaper to make the decision to buy the card you want online rather than buy packs of cards hoping to get that one hit (which is even harder when you’re looking for a specific player). I have done this on occasion for certain sets that I try to attain. But opening packs is a really exciting thing to do, especially hobby boxes. You know there will be hits in there, but you don’t know which pack and you don’t know how many. The thrill of seeing that framed card is so much higher than outbidding your opponent in the closing seconds of an auction. Instant gratification.

Card scans, hit lists, wants/needs to come from the two Allen & Ginter boxes I broke yesterday…stay tuned.
