Sears Card Sale

I didn’t know that Sears even sold baseball cards, but apparently they do. Now, for the low, low price of $9.97, you can own your very own set of Topps 2005 Baseball Collectors Card Set ($6.25 for shipping and handling). I really don’t know much about this set or how much it’s worth but 10 bucks for the whole set of 733 base cards isn’t too bad right? I never knew the point of companies selling whole card sets. Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of selling them in packs? Maybe it’s because they’re only base cards and don’t have inserts, but eh. Selling complete base card sets kind of takes the fun away of trading for them.

  1. But you get five bonus cards in that factory set that not even the almighty Beckett has listed:

    Bryan Triplett, Astros
    Zach Parker, Rockies
    Pedro Powell, Pirates
    Tetsu Yofu, White Sox
    Keith Ramsey, Indians

It’s cool that you waited this long…I guess not too many people knew that they sold factory sets. That may be why they stopped in 2006.

    Sincerely,
